Meet Dr. Alper
Debra A. Alper, Ph.D., currently Assistant Director at Yeshiva University's Counseling Center, brings extensive experience in clinical and school psychology. She holds a doctorate and master’s degree from Hofstra University, and a bachelor’s from Brandeis University. At Yeshiva, she oversees clinical operations, provides supervision, and develops mental health outreach programs. Her prior roles include director of clinical training and psychologist at the Center for Anxiety, where she specialized in cognitive behavioral therapy and developed training programs. Dr. Alper has also served as a school psychologist and has a robust background in teaching and community education. Her work is published in various platforms, and she holds a New York State license.
