As a psychologist, I see how men hunger for spaces that are both restorative and real. Men often feel isolated, overburdened, and disconnected from themselves and others. Therapy helps, but it’s not enough on its own.
Hiking has always offered something different: a natural, grounded space without pretense. As a veteran, I’ve experienced how powerful it is to be alongside other men in an environment that allows for both silence and genuine connection.
Physical Requirements:
-
Physical ability to hike 4-6 miles
-
Endure 4-7 hours on the trail

This hiking group is intended to be simple, physically challenging, and interpersonally accessible. No experience with meditation or poetry is needed, and there’s no expectation to “be” any certain way. It’s just a day walking outside, reflecting, connecting, and reconnecting in a way that supports real, sustainable relief and fulfillment.
